Course Description

Standard First Aid – Level C Recertification – CSA Intermediate First Aid is a 1-day course intended for people whose current Heart & Stroke Standard First Aid – Level C card is nearing expiry. It reviews proven methods for providing standard first aid to injured or ill persons. Through instruction, demonstration, and practice, participants will learn how to determine the severity of a patient’s condition and practice safe intervention when providing them with emergency support.

Recertification only applies one time. Individuals in possession of an existing recertification certificate are required to take the full Standard First Aid – Level C – CSA Intermediate First Aid course.

Duration: 16 hours in-class

• Cost: $100.00 + GST
• Certificate: 3 years Digital Certificate is issued by Heart& Stoke Foundation upon successful completion.
• Required Manual: First Aid Reference Manual, Print = RE2101E OR eBook = RE2101ED
• How to obtain training materials:The required First Aid Provider Manual # RE2101E is provided (reference only).
  Books: you can purchase a book at our location for $35.00 plus GST: current version (2020)
