- Course Completion: Successful completion of the instructor course permits the candidate to pursue the next steps in the instructor onboarding process.

- The BLS Instructor course is delivered by an Instructor Trainer or Master Instructor who will guide instructor candidates in the key elements of delivering Heart & Stroke Basic Life Support and Heartsaver® courses.
Prerequisites
- Current Heart & Stroke BLS Provider certification – AND –
- Core Instructor Training Certificate

Minimum Required Materials:
BLS Instructor Kit Silver* (RE3460E-SILVER)
*The Silver kit contains all that is required for new BLS instructors (BLS Instructor Manual, BLS Provider Manual, BLS USB). Individual kit components and other useful materials and resources may be purchased separately.
Course Completion
Successful completion of the instructor course permits the candidate to proceed to the next stage of instructor on-boarding: monitoring in the delivery of a BLS Provider course.
